It may not be the most played historical Total War game anymore, but Total War: Rome II still wants to be your friend. It still pulls in around half the number of players 3K does every day and its are still remarkably close at times.
We imagine a healthy helps with that, as does a decent DLC library. This is a comprehensive list of every faction, unit, and campaign pack ever sold for Rome II in order of release with details on what makes it stand-out, and our general impressions as to whether or not it's worth picking up. Remember though; Total War DLC’s are all fairly factional/thematic, so if you don't care about the Greek states, for example, our recommendation won’t be of much use to you.
